Spirit of Sound 2011 Scholarship Award

Shenandoah Sound is pleased to announce Carrie Sullivan is the recipient of the 2011 Spirit of the Sound Scholarship. An outstanding contra player, Carrie has been a member of Sound since 2009 and was a featured soloist in the 2011 show during “Slap That Bass” and in the 2010 show during “Nothing Like a Dame.” She also represented Sound as a performer in the Individual and Ensemble (I & E) Competition at Drum Corps Associates (DCA) Finals for three years.
