The 2006 season finds Shenandoah Sound expanding the corps musical repertoire to more traditional jazz and blues with a Latin feel.  Jazz, blues and Latin lead to a drum corps forecast for the season as unpredictable as the summer weather.

And now your local forecast...Weather Patterns. We begin our forecast with Blue Skies that classic Irving Berlin favorite. Blue skies give way to a front building in the south with a 100% chance for Stormy Weather as Lena Horne never delivered. And what’s a summer forecast without the heat? It’ll be Hot, Hot, Hot! just as Buster Poindexter predicted in the drum corps south. In this case, “It's not the humidity, it's the heat” of the Sound blowing up from the South. Wherever we go, not matter what the weather, Shenandoah Sound will be bringing the sunshine.
